About The Trainers:
David Bradshaw J.P., C.Eng., M.I.Mech.E., B.A.
David has 40 years experience with the Ministry of Defence, being employed in senior management roles including Project Management, Quality Management, Information and Communications Technology, Strategy and Planning, Procurement, Forecasting and Budgetary Control, Managing Multi-Disciplinary Groups, Change Management, Management of Change brought about by site closures, Leading a Team of 80 staff etc. David has current teaching qualifications and is continuing his professional teacher development by studying for a Teaching Diploma at New College Nottingham. David has an enhanced CRB check.
Joanna Bradshaw Dip. Couns., M.S.T.F.R., M.O.C. Joanna has a Diploma in Counselling – subjects include effective communication, helping other people – a positive framework, goal setting and action planning, running a group, helping through group work, handling stress, working as a team. Joanna also has Victim Support Nottinghamshire training including Equal Opportunities, communication skills – adult and children, difficult behaviour, domestic violence. Previous roles included being Deputy Manager of a Residential Home and a nurse at Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge (training courses such as Equal Opportunities, communication skills – adult and children, difficult behaviour, challenging behaviour, team building, bullying and harassment, dealing with bereavement, building confidence in others). Joanna is studying towards Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) City & Guilds 7303. Joanna has an enhanced CRB check.
