Course Description. To understand the process of stress, its causes, signs and symptoms. To be aware of ways of coping with stress, various coping strategies and their suitability. To understand why stress when out of work can be a serious problem for individuals. To develop a strategy to begin to move forward with our lives.

 
Note... This course provides and awareness of Stress when out of Work. It does not intend
 to replace any medical guidance or advice provided to someone suffering from Stress.

 

Aim. To understand the causes of why we feel stressed during redundancy.
To be aware of the signs and symptoms of stress. To recognise the forms that stress can take and understand the stress processes. To understand why stress can become a serious problem for individuals who are out of work. To learn about some coping mechanisms and strategies and their suitability and develop a personal coaching strategy.
