Course Description. This is a bespoke course to develop skills for managing small, medium and large projects. The course duration depends on the size and complexity of the project being undertaken. The resource overheads associated with large projects can be crippling with project administration overwhelming the project itself - ie you can't see the wood for the trees. This course will present effective project management and be scaled and tailored to meet your company's requirements so that your project can be delivered to time, cost and quality standards.
Aims. This course provides an overview of project management, the project life-cycle and the role of the project manager. The course describes the Project Initiation and Business Case Phase and how to create them. The course describes the planning concept and milestone deliverables and explains risk assessment. It provides an understanding of what to do when things go wrong. It explains what to do at project completion and subsequent post project review.
